Hi friends, this is a little chasing some favorite from this week.

King’s Birthday Long Weekend

It’s very windy and frozen here. We have a long weekend for the king’s birthday, so having a holiday is a bonus! I have no plans and just spend the day at home, feeling as happy as shells and comfortable inside the house while blowing the storm outside. Pot plants on the veranda were eliminated in the wind, but I was very happy that my washing was better than usual. Yay! Because this is winter, my washing tends to have humid spots even after being on the clothesline all day. I usually have to throw it at a drier for a while. Funny What do we like as adults, right?

Swedish drama

I watched a great Swedish drama named Almost normal family. Have you ever heard of it? That’s on Netflix. I like the sound of Sweden, and I hope by watching enough performances, I can start taking it. My cousin’s partner started learning Spanish from watching TV – so who knows, it might have succeeded for me too. So far, I can say hello, goodbye, thank you, thank you very much, I’m sorry, I don’t know, yes, no, good morning, and to be exact. Maybe someday, I will be able to make a full sentence!

Tuesday half the price of theaters

Every Tuesday, the film ticket is half price, so we go to see Karate Child: Legend. I think it’s a great film. The review says the opposite, which makes me wonder how the reviewer judged various things. OPPENHEIMER Got a warm welcome, but for me, such films are medicine that is guaranteed for insomnia.

We love Karate Child: Legend– You feel modern and nostalgia. I’m not sure why I expect the players to put children from Cobra Kai. They were not in it – only Daniel, Mr. Miyagi in a flashback, and Johnny was right at the end. The main man is great and very liked … wow, he is sure he can karate!

Dinner with friends

Wednesday night, we went to our friend’s house for dinner. It was a pleasant middle week of events. Geez – We eat until we can hardly walk! We start with Haloumi Fried, then have a pumpkin soup, followed by beef, rice and broccoli stew. For the dessert, he even prepared a chocolate mousse right in front of us. When we made it through all the courses, the Mousse was set, and it was really delicious. My friend can definitely cook!

And those are some of my favorite things from this week.

We have a busy Saturday. My beautiful friend’s father died a few weeks ago, and tomorrow he became the host of family and friends to celebrate his life. He said he wanted us to enjoy together, eat, and, in a true South American style, sing a few tango.

I visited him at a nursing home several times, but I never succeeded there this year, and I hope what I have. This is our photo from a few years ago.

I am very happy that I have a beautiful painting that he did in my house.

Then, at night, my aunt had a party to celebrate her birthday. Isn’t it always like a few weekends really free, and then two events appear on the same day? I am very relieved they don’t clash, and I can make it for both.
