Hi friends, I hope you all have a pleasant weekend. Just appear to say hello fast and share some photos from me – thank you very much for stopping by.
Saturday
Saturday morning, I woke up with a burst “Wait, I’m not ready for a vacation!” energy. I think it is a mixture of motivation and light panic! Suddenly, I have the desire to fully change our converted garage, which is double as my office space.
I lay in bed, mentally rearrange furniture and try to find ways to use small space. I think you can say I have reached the point where I no longer love being there. Which is not good because that’s where I am a blog. And even though I am usually good at declaring, it (I admit) slowly turns into a little disposal place – yes!
Our house is small, and because we convert the garage, we lost extra storage space for things such as Christmas decorations, folding tables and chairs, supplies of car cleaners, fans, random goods boxes, and 15 cups of high drinking cactus with small Mexican hats and straw. You know, important items – haha!
I came with the idea of running the curtain from almost the sky to the floor along one end of the garage to hide all the boxes. Before that, they were “hidden” behind the cute IKEA screen – which only succeeded if you were on a shorter side (like me). I spent a lot of years pretending that the boxes did not exist.
Then I exchanged my desk. I have used a wooden dining table that we got for our first rent when we were first married. Too good to throw away and, wow, I think it’s sentimental. We saved hard to the perfect dining table, and I remember pregnant and I and I tried to bring three flight stairs to our flat. My lump continued to block when we turned the corner.
Back to my office refresh – I exchanged a dining table with Sam’s old table that we had saved there. I ran fast to Kmart for curtains, white storage boxes, carpets, curtains, lights, and some fake plants. Then I spent most of Saturday afternoon regulating everything and united everything, and Voila – the page.
Curtain Solution
All boxes are now behind the curtain. And while you can sort of See them through a thin cloth, it still makes the space feel much neater. Hidden chaos!
And this is a refreshed office area
It feels much brighter and calmer now.

I like how this plant will grow in water and there is no sun. Perfect for plant killers like me!

I mixed things with fake plants like this.

I did not take the previous photo because the whole project was completely spurred that moment. Initially, I thought if my curtain idea to hide all the boxes did not work. Then I just gave a neat space quickly and just let it go. So I don’t bother with photos. I hope what I have because I am very happy with the results.
All furniture is already there, but that was just included. Now it is placed in a correct way to function, and I like it! My husband thinks I want to move there (he might be right!).
Christmas in July
My beautiful cousin J and his family host Christmas in July on Saturday night. We wore our bad Christmas jumpers and enjoyed delicious turkey, ham, roast potatoes, and corn bread muffins from Walmart. I have used all my jiffy package mixture, but my cousin will return in October for weddings and will bring back again – yes!

And that is my weekend. Nothing happened on Sunday. I spent the day to complete a few things to get ready to return to work. Several episodes Seinfeld Also makes me happy and disturbed from the reality to come!
How is your weekend? I hope it’s good.
