Hello Monday – Playworkreatrepeat

Hi, friends! It is fun to be able to return on Monday, cold, windy, windy, and rain. Now I have given you weather reports, I can switch to the weekend recap, hehe.

The weekend is about Steve’s birthday celebration. His real birthday was on Sunday, but because he worked on weekends, we decided to spread and celebrate on Saturdays and Sundays.

Saturday

Our eldest son came, and Steve did not start working until 7 pm, so it made sense for a comfortable and long lunch only the four of us on that day. I made his favorite pot and serve it with rice, because everyone likes rice in my house. I myself am more than a potato girl, so I also make a few potatoes – double carbohydrates, why not? When one of your children has moved, I can’t tell you how special about this time. Just sitting at the table, eating and sharing stories about daily life -you never want this time to end!

I got a black forest cake from the Cheesecake shop, and when I went to take it in the morning, I was surprised by a bright red topping – yes! It doesn’t really look like your typical black forest cake, and I almost exchange it for strawberries and creams. But in the end, I thought I would try it because it was only us, and we were not fussy. It turned out to be a good decision, because it tastes good! I have two, maybe three … okay, yes, three slices-and I even not cake eaters (unless we have Pavlova, and then I easily lose all my control).

After the cake, we gave Steve at this time – Samsung’s smart watch. Geez, we all laughed very much when he pulled the watch in his white box from his first gift bag and the first reaction was, “Oh wow, thank you … Nougat!”

Ha ha! For a split second, he really thought we had given him a nougat. I burst out laughing – Dew – He is very happy, we can save money!

Then Steve went to work, and Luke lived until midnight. The three of us watched a film titled I saw TV shining. Hmmmm … definitely interesting and full of meaning. I don’t really like it, I don’t like it either. This type of film attached to your head. My son enjoyed the deep and inspiring films, and I used to like the same type of film and book when I was young. Now I prefer to cheer up where I don’t need to find out in the end!

Sunday

Sunday is Steve’s true birthday. He started working at 2 pm on Sundays, so we went to La Perouse to have breakfast in a place called Boatsted.

The sky is very blue, and it’s beautiful and bright, changes that are very welcomed from the bleak days and the rain that we experienced last week. But it’s still cold and very windy!

After breakfast, we walked around La Perouse and saw the naked island fort, rebuilt in 1885 as part of the Sydney coastal defense.

It is the naked island bridge they use for motorcycle chase scenes Mission: Impossible II (2000). That is a very dramatic scene – Etan Hunt is pursued or maybe chasing, I don’t remember. There are many impressive actions and explosions of motorbikes. That is me Do Remember! I really have to rearrange – it’s been a long time since I saw it.
