Riding my bicycle at a commercial fishing dock as a child I lost control and ride the edge with a drop of 20 ‘for open rocks during low tide.

I tried to stop myself by planting my feet on the edge of the dock, but I knew my bike was too heavy.

Somehow the bicycle stopped, half of the 45 degrees. But now the chair is on my small back to prevent me from going down, and I can’t budge at all to get a bicycle back.

A fisherman finally ran to help me and we decided he would pull me as hard as he could and I let the bicycle fall.

I jumped to the side when he pulled me back to the dock, and it worked.

My bicycle is still there, not moving at all.

When I checked what had happened, there was a piece of ranging from the edge of the pier bending up in the form of L, and passed diagonally through my fingers and completely pinched my bicycle in its place.

That is the only place on the 300 long pier with anything that sticks out.

I underwent a surgical procedure called stapectomy to increase significant hearing loss in my good ears. Conversely, I finally really deaf. My surgery says this only happens to 5 patients in the US.
