SubredDit R/Oldphotosinreallife is the closest we have with a time engine. The 596K continues to compare the past and now through Rephotography – the act of taking photos of the places that have been photographed before. The end result is like a portal, uniting two different periods.
After we were on Panda bored Publish our first story in this online community, we watch and quickly realize that the previous post was not a coincidence. From Machu Picchu which was overgrown with too much in 1915 compared to the site in 2020 to visitors at the Metropolitan Art Museum in 1910 and 2019, R/Oldphotosinreallife consistently displays an interesting angle, presenting things in a different perspective from what we usually do.

This is Nashville’s house of my great -grandfather in 1896, two years before my grandfather was born. This picture is always in the family, but only today I use Google Maps to find the address and find the appearance today. I am happy that I found it
