Learning about history is always fun; truth is foreigners from fiction. But history lessons are even more interesting when there are images that coincide with interesting stories. Allow me to introduce the Instagram account “History in Pictures”. With 4.4 million followers and more than 3,600 posts, @historyphotographed is famous for sharing some of the most interesting images that you may have never seen before.
Bio -page states that their goal is to “educate people by sharing the most powerful moments in history”, while also noting that “history should not be censored”. We have collected some of the most charming vintage photos for you to enjoy, so sit down, relax and be happy we live in a time where information about the past is unlimited.

Mary was born in 1874 and became a nurse in 1894. In 1903, she married Thomas Bevan and they had four children.
