Hi friends, it’s time to connect what happened on Wednesday! I record Juni, which – although very cold (not complaining, just say) – Burnak is a quite fantastic month.

What we eat this week

Monday – Meatloaf, Mash Potatoes, Vegetables and Many Sauce

Tuesday – Nachos

Wednesday – the rest of Nacho because I like to make enough for two days.

Thursday – Barramundi Baked with Chips and Salad

Friday – I will go out for work dinner

SATURDAY – Wrap the souvlaki chicken ribbon

Sunday – Sandwich Steak

What I Remember

You will see what I mean when you read what I fear a little further. Lately, I have thought of simpler times -the 80s are simpler, before we continue to be bombarded with news and renewal every second a day. Life feels slower, calmer, and far more excessive.

I know we have wild hair and interesting fashion, but I will be happy to embrace that crazy style again if that means returning to the time when the world is not messy.

What I Love

Like I am nostalgia for a simpler time, I really like to make plans for winter school holidays! I have started the list, and so far … Every plan involved out to eat somewhere. I might have to be a little more creative, but food wins all the time.

What we have done

I made a fantastic trip to Melbourne with my cousin, where we explore the city in a day.

The sun touched the front of our house, and during the day, it became warm. Because the inside is very cold, I like to sit in the front step with drinks and absorb sunlight when I am at home on weekends.

Only one visit to our favorite local cafe in June. Portuguese Angel is very tasty – I can easily eat ten! (Cream flake cakes and cream pudding cannot be rejected.)

We found a delicious local Chinese restaurant and finally left twice in June. It was a secret that was well maintained-until I began to tell people about it. It turned out that we might be the last locals who found it because everyone I mentioned had said, “Oh yes, we like that place!”

Sheet masks for days when my face feels like a desert. This is a beautiful Christmas gift from one of the good preschool parents last year. I know I can buy it from Mecca, so I will definitely get it again. That’s the best I have ever tried – much better than I usually buy from Priceline.

I finally finished the last trip recap – five months later! This one is all about snorkeling in Waikiki.

The journey recap takes a long time for me to write because there are many things to discuss. I still can’t believe I have to see so many amazing places! One day, I will be a grandmother who tells my grandchildren about our great cousin’s adventure Connect 2025 – and they will say, “Stop, Grannie, we have heard the story a hundred times!”

In June, Steve and I traveled to Avoca Beach to join our friends in celebrating their father’s lives. It was an emotional day, especially watching his grandchildren’s slide shows together.

On the way there, we made Pit Stop fast for breakfast. It was a small moment that was calm and calm before a very big day.

On the same night, we celebrated my aunt’s birthday. While adults danced, I joined the children who play telerests, drawing and guessing games. Geez, I haven’t laughed for a long time! This game has some naughty requests, but you can also choose more docile. I went for a more docile. That is a beautiful way to end the day, with lots of laughter. This is really a good medicine!

This week, we have enjoyed Scone – very good with jam, cream, and a cup of tea. There are so many, I finally froze a few for later.

June is a good person!

What am I afraid of

There is nothing personal at this time – but I cannot ignore the fear that I feel about the tense political situation that takes place globally.

What do I like

We only have one and a half weeks left from the second semester before our two -week winter holidays. Yeeehaaa!

What I Watch

We’re passing through Better contact saul And almost at the end of the second season. So far, this is a fantastic series – even though I have heard it a little in the following seasons, but everyone says to keep using it because it ends very well.

Sam and I tried to convince Steve that he was need to watch Breaking Bad After we are finished. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t need much convincing.

What I listen to

Audio Book! In the past I felt a little like I cheated by listening instead of reading. But I think it’s only another way to enjoy books, especially when you don’t have much time to sit with a physical copy.

I have listened Dear girls By Sally Hepworth, and that must be my favorite books so far. Now, I listen Cannot be broken By Jelena Dokic, Australian tennis star. Gosh, he was loud with the terrible physical and emotional harassment of his father. What should he experience – to be quiet, not tell anyone – heartbreaking.

I remember watching it competing, and during the interview, he often appeared as indifferent, defensive, and not too friendly. Listening to the story really surprised me with how important it is to give people who are ‘rough’ benefits of doubt. Usually there are reasons behind it, and we often don’t know what someone is experiencing. I really need to remember this!

In the case of Jelena, he behaved like that because he knew what was waiting for him after the interview. Winning or losing, he will face verbal harassment endlessly and physical punishment from his father. He beat black and blue and spit it after almost every game and training session. That’s very sad.

But I am happy in the end, he not only survived – he developed, and now he uses his story to help others. Really the right champion.

At least four layers every day.

What I Wait for Next Month

My cousin hosted Christmas in July, which should be very fun! And did I mention that I was really waiting for the July winter school holiday? 😉
