It’s time for July Edition What’s Wednesday. Geez, wasn’t that year flying? This is a glimpse of what we have done this month – what we have done, eat, watch, wear, and everything in between. Let’s go!
What we eat this week
My eating days are almost a long memory (I need to return to the track), and this day, I mostly just swing it. I have an unclear idea of what I will make every day, and I know we usually have fish on Wednesday – but that’s all.
For inspiration, sometimes I ask children in preschool, “Hey, what should Miss Ruth Cook enter for dinner?” They usually return with ideas like brown soup or chicken nuggets. Hmm … I think they are only four and five, so they are not really culinary experts.
On Monday night, I made chicken and mushrooms with cream sauce, and we ate it with rice and vegetables.
On Tuesday, we finished the chicken from Monday night, and I also made some battered cabbage flowers to do it.

Tonight, we will have a barramundi with chips and salads.
I have a staff meeting on Thursday, so I will make Chilli quickly Con Carne with Guacamole on the side. We still have many avocados from my aunt tree.
I think Friday will be a turkey burger.
As for Saturday … Hmm, this is a mystery.
So, eating planning is now done thanks to this post!
What I Remember
When I was 5 years old and my saddest moment was the moment Virgin Done, and I have to wait until the next day to watch the next episode.
What I Love
A few weeks ago, I appeared in Priceline and, with pure luck, found a beautiful sales assistant that gave me so many good makeup tips. These people are absolute gems! He knows exactly what I need and directs me in the right direction with the right product -really suitable for me.
I have been to the previous -class makeup and sadly walking away with a product that makes me look like Oompa Loompa. So when my beautiful coworkers commented the other day, “Wow, your makeup looks very good – what do you use?” I know I will finally break it.
I will soon share posts about the changes that I made and my five-minute makeup routine for people like me who don’t have time, there is no patience, and still wants to look a little glam (or at least, not scary).
What we have done
Staycation spontaneously at The Rocks during my winter school holidays.

Visit to the Christmas market in July.

I did a big reshuffle of my office space – and now I really like it!

Christmas in July with my cousin.

Night date.

I got a haircut during the holidays, and I was pretty sure my hair grew two inches the next day.

What am I afraid of
I had to wear my big girl’s big pants because I went for a breast screen on Monday. Only one of the many excitements, ahem, more than 50.
While I did it, I will finally finish the annual blood test. The last time I did it, they told me my white cells were low, so naturally, I did the most “Ruth” Things that have been and have not returned for three years. Who needs negative things like that?
But really, I had to be above the test today and stop walking hoping to be told that I had three months to live.
What do I like
Four weeks until spring!
What I Watch
Like many Swedish shows and films that I can find! I like the sound of language, and I also follow Duolingo. Every time I catch a word in a scene, I feel very proud. Subtitles are still very many – but I’m working on it.
I also watched MasterChef Australia, And almost the final time. All contestants are very popular. So I don’t mind who wins. A little funny – my family always says I cook better when Masterchef active. I will not be angry with brown or cook on hibachi, but that makes me think about balancing the taste and making umami happen. Look at me using Masterchef Words like me know what I do haha!
What I listen to
I typed this during my lunch break, and the noise of the playroom was wild. So, I listened to noise pink. Have you ever heard of it? I didn’t until I looked for White noise on Spotify, and this appeared. I can’t hear the pink color – it sounds like white for me.

The curiosity made me, so I searched on Google. Apparently, pink noise like a white noise but with a lower roar. People say it helps block noise and help sleep. The mystery is solved (although I still think it sounds exactly like White Noise).
What I Wear
During the winter night, I often wear my cat to keep me warm when I watch TV.

What I do this weekend
There are no plans
What I Wait for Next Month
Cousin is connected and my husband’s birthday.
And that is a wrap for July, which turned out to be a pretty good month (though cold). Fingers crossed August to all of us!
