Being a good neighbor can mean different things, but if there is one rule, it is to remain approachable.
However, when Reddit user Sweet-Rainbow- noticed that the woman next door was feeding their cat, she not only refused to acknowledge their concerns, but also started telling them about the pet’s diet—as if meeting the animal once in a while allowed her to understand it better than its owner could.
Luckily, karma didn’t ignore this and taught him a valuable lesson.

This story is an example of why so many people are unhappy with their neighbors
LendingTree surveyed 2,000 Americans to find out how well they get along with their neighbors, and a quarter (24%) said they dislike at least one person. The biggest reasons are:
- Rude or unfriendly (48%)
- Making too much noise (31%)
- Too nosy (29%)
- Personal incidents (20%)
- Unruly pets (19%)
- Not taking care of the house/yard (18%)
- Naughty children (14%)
- Not following local parking regulations (13%)
- Property offenses (10%)
- Others (9%)
Seventeen percent of Americans – the same as our Redditors – said they had been involved in a verbal altercation with a neighbor, while 7% even mentioned a physical confrontation.
Surprisingly enough, about one-fifth (19%) of Americans move because they don’t like neighbors, and this is three times more likely among Millennials (28%) than Baby Boomers (8%).
But this time, it seemed that the woman had come to her senses, and something drastic was not necessary.
